Richard Mueller
Richard first stepped onto the ice with Richmond Minor Hockey, playing ahead of his age group. He eventually moved to Notre Dame in Saskatchewan before playing in the WHL (1998-2003). This was followed by 18 successful years of professional hockey in Europe, where he won 5 championships and had the distinguished honor of being placed on the 2010 Olympic roster with Team Germany. In 2016, Richard was awarded Frankfurt's Athlete of the Year.
Richard’s infamous skills, endurance, puck handling, and explosive speed is, in part, the result of receiving top-tier training from Vladimir, the father of Pavel Bure, former Vancouver Canuck, and Karen Diane Magnussen, a Canadian Olympian. Richard’s expertise, training, and decades of experience are reflected in how he approaches the game - with purpose and integrity. His passion and enthusiasm for hockey, along with his professional and positive approach, make him a critical training asset for any player looking to improve their physical and mental game. The superior one-on-one training and specific goal-setting unique to each player’s needs is proof of that.
When asked, why?
As a coach, I have the opportunity to pass on the same spark that made me light up on the ice. Seeing the younger generation grow their passion for hockey is exciting.
Watching their drive and hunger for the game increase with the skillset is impressive, but what makes it even better for me, are the smiles and seeing how much their love grows for the game of hockey.
